
Episode 27 – Positive Urgency is Greater than Motivation

Know anybody who no matter how much they do or give, they think it’s never enough? Or, how about somebody who constantly feels the world is out to get them? Ever met a person who just seems happy and at peace all the time? I think I understand why these three types of people feel this way—it comes down to a personal perception.

I’ve been watching my 4-year-old son, Greyson do preschool from home, and what’s become especially apparent to me: Learning requires intention—not just for kids, but for adults.

Throughout the past couple of months, we’ve had to literally pause almost everything. I believe that sometimes with great challenge can come great opportunity. Let’s choose to see this forced pause as time to interrupt the path we were on and possibly reevaluate, readjust and reset.

When you’re driving your car, do you spend your time looking out the front windshield or in the rearview mirror? Now, more than ever before, we need to be focused on what’s ahead of us.
