Ever feel STUCK? It’s an awful feeling, and it’s even worse when you don’t know how to move forward. There is actually a lot of science behind why we get stuck. On a physical level, our body is built to survive, and is therefore designed to crave familiarity, which means it will naturally shy away from the new or the unknown. We need to fight against our body’s tendency to stay stagnant in a ‘normal state.’ There are also neurological and psychological reasons why we stay stuck. In this #WalkWithMe episode, I break down the SCIENCE of getting stuck and offer ways we can break through by creating new patterns and making small shifts.
