When you’re physically treading water, you’re typically not moving in any direction. And when it comes to the analogy of ‘treading water’ in life, a lot of us think that it means we’re not moving forward or not growing. However, treading water can also mean that you are using a lot of muscle and building strength and endurance, which can set a strong foundation for everything else. In this #WalkWithMe episode, I talk about how sometimes just simply ‘treading water’ IS the best strategy and whenever we feel we’re not making progress, we’re actually building skills and the strength to get us where we need to be.
