I decided to stay in CA for college. I applied to Stanford, UCLA, USC, and several other UC’s, and most schools asked for an entrance essay. This is when it became clear to me that I wanted to do something with my life that would make a deliberate impact on others. Worthwhile legacies, I learned, don’t happen by accident.
